Desk. Before.
I really wanted to paint the cubbies inside the desk, but knew they needed to be removed to get decent coverage with the paint. So, I removed the back panel and the staples holding the cubbies in place. Easy. Peasy.
They were still a bugger to paint...but so worth it.
Desk. After.
Isn't she pretty?
I used Pure White by ASCP, distressed and waxed it.
The handles were given new life with a little antique bronze paint.
i think distressing a piece brings out all the
details that were hidden in the wood.
The inside of the desk looks just perfect...
so glad I made the extra effort and pulled the cubbies out.
Look at these little feet. Adorable.
