Timeless

Before

After

This is an old sewing table that I really like b/c of the timeless look.  It has great lines & just a little bit of detail.  This would be a great piece to add to any room!

Ric Rack

Before

After

I love this piece.  There is so much detail on it.  It reminds me of Ric Rack that you would sew on clothes back in the day.  The handle was spray painted brushed nickel to match better with the new fun blue color.  It is tall & thin, so it could fit in a small space that maybe needs a little jazzing up!

Distressed Desk

This turned out to be such a great piece...

We can honestly say that we were a little overwhelmed by this one.
It had seen better days and was in need of some love.  We gave it some old white paint, a little distressing, clear wax and some new purple glass knobs.

Now it is perfect.

Measurements:  Total height 69", depth 18.5" and width 46"

Shabby Cute!

Before

After

This is actually a little sewing table that we converted into a cute side table!  It could be used in any area of your home ~ I think it would be cute as a hall table. It was painted white with a few hints of blue-ish green here & there.  This piece received brand new greenish glass knobs to finish off it's shabby chic look & unique coloring!  You have to see this to appreciate it!

Leather-Like Desk

Before

After

This is a very large desk...  it was painted white, distressed, & then painted with a dark wax.  The wax made almost a leathery like finish.  The idea was to make it very masculine looking since it is quite large with straight lines.  The hardware is brand new & fit the piece perfectly.  If you need a desk that holds lots of stuff ~ this is the desk for you!

Beth from Not Too Shabby in the Gateway Mall asked us to paint this bench/coffee table a pretty cream with lots of distressing...

Sock Monkey

This piece was brought to us by a wonderful family here in Bismarck.

It was a basic pine colored dresser, headboard
and mirror with hunter green accents.  Their 4-year old son loves
sock monkeys and they requested the furniture items be painted in similar tones to the monkeys...yet be neutral enough to use throughout
the years as preferences change.

The perfect shade of cream with some brown accents...
the red knobs can easily be changed as he grows.

Hope they love it...we do.

Fleur de lis

Beth had us redo this dresser with a fun fleur de lis & striping accent to the top.  The dresser has such great drawer pulls & a very large mirror that goes with it ~ a must see!  If your interested...head to Not Too Shabby in the Gateway Mall!

Function Meets Cool

I will be the first to admit, my staging is very sub-standard!

I had no idea how to stage this without actually drilling holes in my walls (which I obviously decided against for my marriage's sake)~ the idea of the piece is to hang the top shelving on a wall, and then to have the great little bench piece underneath.  It would be wonderful in an entry area, or a bedroom, or even a bathroom come to think of it!

There is storage on the top for baskets, hooks for coats/jackets/towels, and the bottom could also have baskets/shoes.  We installed new casters on the bottom for ease of movement & we bought 4 hooks for the top shelving unit.  If you look closely, each hook has dual hooks to hang even more stuff!

This is truly a fun, functional piece!
