Not Too Shabby

Not Too Shabby
Gateway Mall, Bismarck ND
Owner ~ Beth

It has been an exciting couple of days for us at Green Briar Goods!
Beth from Not Too Shabby in the Gateway Mall, Bismarck, ND contacted us about doing some custom projects for her shop. Beth has a number of great pieces that she would like us to transform. When our projects are complete, she will be putting them back on the sales floor with a totally different look!  We can't wait to start on these fun pieces & very fun color choices that Beth has made!  Look closely at the "before" pictures, because these pieces will be all glammed up when we're finished!

Here are the before pictures:

We also will be doing a desk, table and a smaller hutch.

Look for these items in the next few weeks at

My Little Distraction

I was reading through some of my favorite blogs yesterday and stumbled across some great garland ideas...so, having nothing else to do (whatever) I pulled out my bin of scrapbooking supplies and finally put them to use.

Need a distraction?  Give it a try...all you need is some ribbon, twine or string,
some cardstock, scrapbooking letters and a hole punch.
A tag punch came in handy, but any shape of paper would work.

Have fun.

Smart

This is a desk (before/afters) that we did for a client.  We sanded the writing area really good & then stained it walnut.  The desk was dry brushed w/ a custom mix of golden yellow/brown/white to give it this cocoa color.
