Bubble Gum

Our friend, Beth, from Not Too Shabby in the Gateway Mall is keeping us busy with fun projects...did you know she loves pink?  Well, she does and I was able to paint three different pink pieces for her this week.

Before

This child-size picnic table and benches were in tough shape...
a little sanding and paint made a huge difference.

After

Isn't this cute?

Two small benches and a fold down table in the
perfect shades of pick and white.

The sun was streaming in through the windows and
washing the colors out a bit...sorry.

Before

After

A fun little chair that would be perfect in a little girls room.
It is absolutely adorable.  I was attempting to stage this with some girly toys...not happening at my house.

Just a hint of distressing makes this piece perfect.

Before

Dark and boring.

After

Pretty in pink.
This is a great bench with storage or a toy box for your little girl.

All three pieces are available for purchase at Not Too Shabby in the Gateway Mall.  If you meet Beth, tell her that the GBG girls sent you.

Versatile Mission Piece

Renae found this piece at a rummage sale all icky with cobwebs & a very thick layer of dust/yuckiness!  We grabbed a large ice cream container, filled it with water & Murphy's Oil Soap & scrubbed away.  When we got all of the ick off, we realized that this piece didn't need a paint job ~ it is beautiful!

We coated it with a clear, smooth wax & waa-llla!  Honestly...I think it looks like it came out of the pages of Pottery Barn!  Very versatile ~ foyer/entry/sofa table ~ possibly a desk?  You be the judge...

Measures 42"w x 26"d x 28"tall

Farmhouse

Before

After

It is so simple and reminds me of a small version of a "farmhouse" table.
We used a robin egg blue paint and after the paint dried,
we waxed the table to really give it a "shabby chic" look.

Mission accomplished!

The dimensions are:  40"w x 30"d x 30"h

$100 ~ Sold.  Thanks Juanita!

Limitless

Before

After

This piece has "limitless" potential.
It is a desk that converts into a table with the four leaves that are included.
It is painted a soft cream and sage green, with a hint of distressing and glaze.

Perfect for a craft or toy room.
Imagine spreading out for a weekend of scrapbooking,
then closing it up to conserve space.   The three drawers offer a ton of storage.

This piece is available for purchase at Not Too Shabby in the Gateway Mall.
This store is a little treasure in the heart of Bismarck...
look what I bought today!

Perfect with a white tee, jeans and my flip-flops!
You must go check out her vintage cowboy boots...none fit me.

Distressed...Big Time

This table looks great!

We love the heavy distressing and the "dirty" look that we gave this table.
It is very unique and versatile...plus, it is available for purchase at
Not Too Shabby in the Gateway Mall.

Open Thursday thru Saturday from 10-6 and Sundays 12-5
