Not Too Shabby
Gateway Mall, Bismarck ND
Owner ~ Beth
It has been an exciting couple of days for us at Green Briar Goods!
Beth from Not Too Shabby in the Gateway Mall, Bismarck, ND contacted us about doing some custom projects for her shop. Beth has a number of great pieces that she would like us to transform. When our projects are complete, she will be putting them back on the sales floor with a totally different look! We can't wait to start on these fun pieces & very fun color choices that Beth has made! Look closely at the "before" pictures, because these pieces will be all glammed up when we're finished!
Here are the before pictures:

Vanity with Mirror
We also will be doing a desk, table and a smaller hutch.
Look for these items in the next few weeks at
Not Too Shabby in the Gateway Mall or on our blog.

I was reading through some of my favorite blogs yesterday and stumbled across some great garland ideas...so, having nothing else to do (whatever) I pulled out my bin of scrapbooking supplies and finally put them to use.
Need a distraction? Give it a try...all you need is some ribbon, twine or string,
some cardstock, scrapbooking letters and a hole punch.
A tag punch came in handy, but any shape of paper would work.

This retro style desk is so cool. We painted the desk & the chair, distressed, & then glazed them. The chair was reupholstered with this super fun floral fabric! The dimensions of the desk are: 40.5"w x 20"d x 29.5"high.

Furniture in the basement...either done or almost done! If you like that chair, just wait to see the desk that it goes with...pictures of that to come very soon! The dresser drawers on the bottom are so funky & we will post pictures of them in the dresser as soon as we finish it! We have a few more really great pieces coming hopefully by tonight or for sure, this weekend!
This dresser is so cute! We painted her up, and put some pretty silver pulls on her to make her shine! Look at the "before" picture below...the sad brown dresser w/out any hardware! We did this one for Sarah & her little girl, Maya! Hope you like it!

This classic bread box has so many more uses in any room of the house! Put in your kitchen & "stow away" coffee, tea, bread, etc. This would be cute to hold make-up, hair products, in your bedroom. Wouldn't it be great to tuck away your home office items in this fashionable box? It measures 16"wide x 10"deep x 10"high!
